Evening Parties start Wednesday April 7th / Friday April 9th

    Free Soaring, and Beer

Once again the committee have agreed to waive soaring fees for evening parties.
So if you want to fly with the same instructors each week, instead of waiting for their turn on the weekend rota why not come along on an evening party.
If you want to fly, but don't want to miss family or friends at the weekends, then evening parties are for you. Alternatively if you want another excuse to get out of the house and get some fresh air, and waiting for the weekends is too much of a gap, then once again evening parties are your chance!

(As with 2009 it's the soaring that's free not the beer!)

BGGC Open Day on Saturday, April 10, starting at 10am

If you are interested in flying, or just want to come along and see please stop in and visit. Any trial lessons that cannot be fitted in on the day will be flown on other days suitable to the visitors.

    Task Weeks

Andy Davis will be running a coaching and task week 22nd – 30th May 2010. The week will take the form of a daily met and task briefing at which a selection of tasks will be set daily according to the weather, pilot needs and experience levels. There will be no formal scoring of flights, but there will be a debrief session after flying each day to discuss the day’s flying and main learning points. Friendly rivalry will be encouraged! There will also be the chance to fly with top pilots in the DG505.

Sid is also running his traditional task week 24th July to 1st August, which gives chance for a bit of informal competition experience and often some excellent flying.

For details of both events see Task Weeks.
